Mako's presentation
She talked about her reading circle. Now, I know she likes reading and read vast amounts of books. But, she was no good at reading originally. That reason is that she though of meaning of new words during reading and the speed of reading was not fast. She read again and again, however, she can read smoothly. Then, she told us steps of reading. 1. read a book 2. pick up some points, comments and questions. 3. read it again to answer her own question. 4. compare the story with other materials like movies and videos.
I don't hate reading, so her story was interesting. I also though of the meaning of new words, so I sympathized with her. In my case, however, I didn't try to read many times. Therefore, I think her effort was great and her reading circle was interesting. Through her steps, I want to enjoy reading!
Kenya's presentation
He talked about one-side love. He experienced one-side love. I have never experienced it, but his story helped me imagine the love. He introduced tips to get lovers. 1.send a massage in a timely moment. 2.give compliment in a casual manner. 3.always smile 4. appeal oneself 5. try some magic.
When I have someone who is my lover someday, I want to try it...
On the whole, his presentation was persuasive. That's because he mentioned his own experience and movie whose topic is one-side love. Then he used statistics and his material was clear to see. Through his presentation, I got some interests in one-side love, so I want to try some movies related to one-side love.
Rie's presentation
She talked about the split family. There are many children parents divorce, and they want two parents to live together again. She said that divorce was mot always bad but people should avoid it for their children. I agreed with it. Then, she told us some solution. 1. parents should live together for several years before they get married. 2. they should respect each other's self-esteem.
In her presentation, she introduced a movie where there were a such a problem. So, I could consider the problem imagine the situation. First of all, it is important for couples not to have relationship where they realize divorce. Therefore, two tips which she said is so valuable.
Satoru's presentation
He talked about the rights of immigrants. He agrees with the idea that immigrants should have the same rights as citizens, of course in Japan. Now, Japan has many problems, for example, aging population, decline in birthrate and the shortage of workers. But, if immigrants lives as Japanese, the problem might be better. Therefore, the conditions of living for immigrants should be better. Then, he said that immigrants without citizenship should have the right to go to vote. In his presentation, there were full of ideas, and it was so serious.
Through his presentation, I though of the problem. It is so difficult and serious. Like Satoru, thinking about the problem is so valuable.
Nanako's presentation
She talked about the unborn babies which mean abortion. Compared to Japan, people have an abortion commonly in China and Russia. There, abortion is permitted in general. There are a lot of people who make the same decision in Japan. Especially, when teenagers have baby, they can't take care of the baby, and it become unborn baby. knowledge or abortion is important!
Nanako's topic is so serious like Satoru's one. I think this problem has to be taken notice by not only Japan but also other countries where abortion is commonplace. Abortion is the same as killing babies. Therefore, we should think about the problem globally. Nanako's presentation might be good trigger for us.
3. My presentation
I talked about word play, especially pun. I think word play is one of the highest communication tools and only human can use. the benefits of word play are as follows. 1.It can be ice-break tool. 2.It express what I want to say specially,rhetorically. (In conversation, word play like pun enrich the expression) 3.playing on words help remember when we study.
I tried this presentation remembering what classmate have advised me. Of course, I got nervous as usual. I wanted to speak more loudly...I wanted to look people more... I wanted to introduce original pun... Next semester, I want to improve more and more!( Through presentation of this class, I rather developed !!)

Kakeru's presentation
He talked about his strengths and weakness. He plays a card game and he has been to many prefecture-Fukuoka, Kagoshima, or Miyazaki, for its competitions, and he makes many friends. At the same time, he thinks the hobby can be childish, he said. He spends his earned money for it, and he wants to save his money.
In my case, I like games, but I am usually satisfied with only watching people playing games. So, I think it is his advantage that he has something which he can be enthusiastic and he can be active for it. Associating his strength with his weakness was good point of his presentation.
Miho's presentation
She talked about her strengths and weakness. First, her weaknesses are as follow. 1. She can not woke up early. 2.She tends to be idle 3. She can not say "No". These points apply for me, so I could think of myself through her talking. Next, her strengths are as follows. 1. she can laugh well every day 2. She has a positive thinking. 3.She learns a lot of things from her mistakes. 3. She can be gentle, and friendly. Then, she introduces some famous words at last, and she seemed to continue improving her strengths through the words.
I think grasping oneself in both good and bad points is important for us. And, what is more, trying developing the good points is valuable. She could do all of them, so I think her talking was attracting.
Aya's presentation
She talked about her experiences and what she learned from them. She talked the experience of junior high school and one of high school. When she was a junior high school student, she belonged to the brass band club. At that time, she couldn't play the convincing sound. She practiced again and again, and she searched information to improve her play on web. Then, when she was a student of commercial high school, she wanted to learn commerce and English, so she studied for her self, and she went to abroad for studying.
Through these experiences, we could see her effort, and it moved the listeners. "Efforts will be rewarded". I understood her story because I also talked about my ski experience like her.
Ayari's presentation
She talked about her experiences and what she learned from them. She mentioned an accident when she was a junior high school sophomore. Junior high school usually prohibits bringing sweets, and also did her school. One day, the discovery of sweets made her teacher angry. But, after that, she got sweet again, and she had to apologize in public.Through the experience, she learned as follows. 1. We should not do what is been prohibited. 2. We should not betray some important people. 3. It is hard to get back trust again if we lose it once.
When she talked about this story, she named the accident "Candy Problem", and I got a humor in the bad accident. Then, learning from bad experience is so important to improve ourselves. Therefore, her story may have persuaded the audiences.
3. My presentation
I talked about my experience and what I learned from it. The experience was ski as the school trip. I learned many things, and one of them is never giving up. It looked like Aya's story. So, I could sympathize with her.
But, I was so nervous. I think my hand tremble made my materials difficult to look... And, I used strange English...Sometimes, my tension destroys my English pronunciation and intonation...Therefore, next time, I wanted to be conscious of such points so so strongly and make a good presentation.

Satoru's presentation
He talked about J. K. Rowling as one of the successful person because he likes the Harry Potter series . As he said, she is a successful person now, but the way to success was so long and hard. She experienced many hardship in her life, but she never stopped writing.
And, this time, he mentioned what was important for success. He said that doing what we want to do was valuable. The famous author liked writing and she succeeded. I liked the way of thinking, and at the same time, I thought that learning through a author of favorite book is so nice.
Taisei's preentation
He mentioned two famous person. One of them was Thomas Alva Edison. He is a famous inventor, and his way of thinking is so fascinating. Sine he was a child, he had questioned "Why"? And, the curiosity made him invent many wonderful things.
Taisei said that the great people's way of thinking was interesting, and I thought so. Therefore, it was good that I knew the two people's idea well through his presentation. And the pictures which he used helped me imagine the people.
Hikari's presentation
She talked a Japanese famous person. Her name is "Amuro Namie". She is one of the most famous singers in Japan, and she decided to retire from the job. Many people got shock at that time. Hikari mentioned the success of the famous singer, but I think the impact of her retirement is still left because the reaction of listeners when Hikari saw the picture of the famous person was big. The choice of people who we talk about in presentation might be important, I leaned. And I liked her idea about success. Not giving up and continue making efforts! These are very important for me, so her talking made me sympathize with it.
Nanako's presentation
She referred to five famous people. One of them was Barak Obama. He changed people's life.
I think that successful people create change in people's life and also does he. As the president of the United States, he made many change. Therefore, I was convinced why he mentioned him. And, the other was Mark Cuban. He succeeded as a businessman, but he loved living in small house if he was happy. And, she said eating delicious food is important for her. From these things, I think happiness and success was same for her. And I agree with her.
Rie's presentation
She talked about keys of success. 1. Wake up early. 2. Working out 3. Having their own peaceful time 4. Making plans 5. Eating healthy food 6.Making routines 7.Writing diary 8.Focusing on solution 9.Writing down their goals 10.Believing in then selves. Her idea about the way of success was specific. On the other hand, my idea about success was abstract because I though that I got many success through my experience. That contrast was so interesting. It is difficult for me to do ten things. So, first, I want to try making a routine!
My presentation
I introduced Alain's idea. He is a French philosopher, critic, and moralist. His disciple who was a critic called him a modern Socrates. Such a excellent person's idea is so simple: You are not satisfied with success. It succeeded because it was satisfied-
Therefore, I wanted people to know! It was good that I could make the materials.
But I was so nervous still! From the previous reflection, I tried to pay attention to the people of end table, and I made mistake when I saw my pictures to the other people. Next time, I want everyone to understand my talking well!

Third Presentation
1. How I have changed since childhood
Satoru's presentation
He has changed physically and mentally. He was 145cm tall when he was a child. And he is 180 cm tall now. He was confident about sport before but he rarely plays sports now. And his personality also changed. He was an active person once but he is silent now.
I have also changed since my childhood and the change is similar to him. I became taller and taller (unfortunately). And my personality has changed from active one to silent one. I could sympathies with him. And I didn't think about physical change before his presentation, so his talk was interesting.
Reina's presentation
When she was child, she followed the trend. Foe example, she liked love and berry and she corrected 3,000 cards before.Then, she had Strong likes and dislikes of food. But she likes eating now. And she started dancing when she was 6 years old. However, she didn't do it seriously at that time. After she entered this university and joined in dancing club, she became to dance so seriously.
I think it 's interesting that the enthusiasm of a certain thing is different between now and past. Then, when she show us the picture of love and berry, I could understand her game though I didn't know it well factually.
Saya's presentation
She has changed a lot. Before, she was a shy person and often cried. She couldn't say "thank you" or "help" because of her personality. But she isn't now. She is an active person now. what changed her is her mother's word,"Talk with people more often and communicate with others." She was inspired by her mother and she changed!
Her change is opposite of my one. I was active once an I am so calm down now. But she was the contrary, and it was so interesting. And who she introduced her mother's word, she made a beautiful picture, so I could imagine the situation easily as if I watched one scene of a movie!

She was not able to open her heart to her friends before. But she has changed gradually. According to her interesting story, there were a boy who liked lifting up a skirt of girls in her school. One day, she got the damage of it. She had some complains about him by nature, but her anger exploded then! Then she began to express herself.
I like her unique story. When she talked about the crazy boy, many people laughed. I think she is good at ice breaking!
Rie's presentation
She also got some influence from her mother and changed. her mother recommended her to play the piano to do something together. And she began to play. I think that the mother have a special power from two people's talk. And when she was a child, she couldn't imagine that she had an interest in English. Her english teacher affected her. I think that key person can change one person. In my case, the special person was a math teacher. we got influence through the teacher, but her key person was an English teacher and my key person is a mathematics teacher, The difference is funny.
3. My presentation
In this presentation, I talked about myself deeply, so I was so ashamed of. I spoke about my experience, but I think it should have got more force. Compared to previous one, I was conscious of eye contacts. but, in front of me. I couldn't show my paper and my eye to the people of the end. Therefore, I have to improve the eye contacts more!

Yuko's presentation
She talked about requirements to be a best friend. Best friends should have relationship where we can help each other. For example, when she got a trouble, who helped her was her best friend. Then, when her friend had one, she gave some advice to the friend. I think that the relationship is great. And what I liked in her talk was her idea that we can be natural in front of best friend.
In her presentation, she used a example of her father. It had a reality, and I cold understand what she said. And when no one had any question at last, she asked us, listeners, whether we could share a house or not, so I thoght her presentation was good.

At first, I got some shock because she said that she didn't like this topic. She thought that telling friends from best friends was difficult and this topic was cruel for her. But she told us some stories of her friend. For instant, She knows what her friend likes and she can consult her friend about some trouble. we could know that there was a good relationship between her and her friend.
I like her beginning because I didn't expect that she said such a thing. I thought that her presentation was interesting. And I knew that she treasured her friends. In her presentation, her characteristic appeared, which said that the presentation was hers.
Yuri's presentation
She also talked what best friend was like. She said that as a best friend it was important to sympathize with each other. If we can't agree with someone, our relationship is broken up. And best friend can say what not to do. I also think so. I have a best friend, and she says me strict word when I do something too much. Whether we can improve each other is so important.
I thought that if a listener can share some idea with a speaker, the presentation would be good through her presentation. I also told how important to scold our friends, so I could sympathize with her whwn she talkes about it.
Taisei's presentation
His style of presentation was so fun. To think a topic with our listeners, he asked five questions in his presentation. Among them, third question was whether we could stay with a friend in same room for a long time. Yuko also talked she could share a house with her friend if her private room is separated from her friend's one. So his question was similar to Yuko's. So, whether we can share time with a friend is important issue for us, I think.
I think his presentation was great. He connected us by sharing some questions. I though of his questions, but some of them was a problems which I have never thought. I think that I can improve my relationship between my friends through his questions.
Satoru's presentation
He said an interesting idea. He said our personality changes through times, and our relationship between friends also changes. In fact his personality changed from his childhood, so did his friend. So he thinks that a best friend is a friend who accepts his even if his personality changes. And he also said that best friend could scold him. He referred to his friend, so it had a persuasiveness.
In his presentation, his face met us, and he made sure if we understood. So we could know his idea well. And he made me think that to match my friend' personality was important.

Compare to previous presentation, there was a improvement. I got a advice saying that materials was important to help people understand my presentation. So I made a data and materials. And I didn't use any scrip because many people praised it in previous one. So I didn't look at any paper again this time. It was good, but my eyes didn't catch any eyes of my members. My eyes left the papers and went somewhere different from my member's face. In the last comment of my blog, Satoru advised that I should think of listeners as pumpkins. I tried it. But they were a human. I was so nervous... Therefore I want to try eye contacts again. Next time, what should I think of them as?

First Presenzation

There were five people in my group. In order of presentation, they were Saki, Satoru, Rie, Aya, (Runa). Their presentation can be divided to two pattern mainly―supporters and opponents of cosmetic surgery. Saki and Rie are position of supporters and Satoru and Aya are position of opponents. For me, which side is interesting. I think cosmetic surgery rely on each people. If people want to do it, it's not problem, and if people don't like it, it is only another idea.
I know they are enough excellent people. But they want to improve something. I think that self-improvement is important for people for their life.

I tried to do presentation without looking something, and I could. However, I got so nerves. So I couldn't eye contact with the members. It's my problem. Therefore, I want to try eye contact next week . Then, my voice volume and my posture are also my point of self-improvement. I want to change these points and improve my presentation skills!

There were five people in my group. In order of presentation, they were Saki, Satoru, Rie, Aya, (Runa). Their presentation can be divided to two pattern mainly―supporters and opponents of cosmetic surgery. Saki and Rie are position of supporters and Satoru and Aya are position of opponents. For me, which side is interesting. I think cosmetic surgery rely on each people. If people want to do it, it's not problem, and if people don't like it, it is only another idea.
Saki's presentation
She told that cosmetic surgery gives people confident. Actually, her close person experienced double shaping and she got some confident! She was able to communicate with many people and changed into a bright person. I learned that cosmetic surgery is important to someone. The good point of her presentation is that she told a specific experience. I have no one who have experienced some cosmetic surgery around me. So her telling was a valuable resource to think about this issue.
Rie's presentation
She also agree cosmetic surgery. She said that people can do it and get over some complex. And they can communicate with many people face to face, and be active, and get confident. Some people say that we don't have to mind our face, and what is most important is inner beauty. But face is so important for someone. I think what she said is right. She is so persuasive. She told some example during talking, so listner could understand her!
Satoru's presentation
Cosmetic Surgery is not important for him. He thinks that people don't have to do the surgery.
He was inspired by a person and got such an idea. He also told us his experience, and we can understand what he said easily. Then, he said that we can change our inner aspect. For example, presentation in public is nerves. But he can do it and he can communicate with many people. It's because of his self improvement. He convinced us the importance of our inner.
Aya's presentation
She was against cosmetic surgery as well as Satoru. Yes, like Satoru. She began her presentation saying "Like Satoru...". Incorporating the content of previous person's idea is good point of presentation. I thought that she was good at presentation. According to her, personality is pretty important. Cosmetic surgery is not the characteristic. And it changes people at all. This idea is so interesting. She said that reflecting oneself is precious. She gets more confident, brave and positive thinking. And if she get all of them, she want to communicate with variety of people like Satoru.
I know they are enough excellent people. But they want to improve something. I think that self-improvement is important for people for their life.
3. My presentation
